SCConsortium Objectives

These objectives will be subject to change as government policy is updated.

Objective 1

Establish strategies, structures and values to enable collaboration to take place.

Objective 2

Maintain access to a wider curriculum embracing academic and vocational pathways.

  • Audit provision.
  • Use up to date labour market information to inform planning.
  • Facilitate good practice in timetable alignment and transportation to enable the smooth running of shared curriculum delivery.
  • Review the AS and A2 provision to inform decision making.
  • Support continuous professional development for careers education and personalised learning.
  • Support learning visits and CPD for teaching vocational subjects.

    Provide students with information on the full range of curriculum options and access to independent advice and guidance.

    Objective 4

    Collaborate across partner institutions in supporting staff to deliver a first class teaching and learning experience to stimulate and stretch students thus raising achievement.

    Objective 5

    What ever their individual choices, ensure that all students are equipped with the skills necessary to enable them to function effectively in adult life and achieve economic well being.
