Consortium Steering Group
The Aims and Objectives of the Steering Group will be to:
- Provide Strategic Leadership to the Consortium, in accordance with the above overarching aims and Government Policy
- Consider and evaluate proposals from the Curriculum and Quality group
- Consider and evaluate proposals for developing collaborative provision and associated expenditure
- Contribute to and agree Consortium Development Plans
- Monitor financial expenditure and agree modifications to agreed plans as necessary
Membership of the Steering Group
Voting membership of the Steering group to consist of:-
- Heads of Partner Institutions (College Principal and Head teachers) or their nominee (Deputy or Assistant Head teacher or School Link Governor)
A nominee is defined as a representative who is, for the purposes of the meeting, empowered to vote on behalf of the partner institution
Where resolutions are put to the vote, a Quorum of seven voting members must be present.
Non-Voting membership includes
- Consortium Coordinator
- Any YPLA/LA representatives
Non-voting guest members attend meetings:-
- in an advisory capacity
- to provide guidance
- to provide feedback
